The show will feature live jazz music from the Jazz house crew (Jimi, Max, Brad, Tobias), projections from Celo, live painting and art features with Neo Oslund Michelle Whimbey, Nico,  Denisa Fořtova. Outdoor sound sculpture by Ben. Art from Anwar Nasr and Raj Gill.

Quiet Night is a tradition that started in Illinois and has now spread to many cities across the USA. This is the third edition of QUIET NIGHT VANCOUVER!

Quiet Night is an open-mic style house show where anyone can show up and present anything! There are only two rules for Quiet Night:
1. Performances must be QUIET
2. Performances should be under 10 minutes (so we can share the night with as many performers as possible!)

This is an open and inclusive event and all types of performances and performers are welcome, as long as you can stay quiet! Sing a song, read a poem, perform a string quartet, dance a dance, perform a monologue, do a puppet show, tell a joke, dream a dream, and more!

All you have to do to perform is show up! We’ll put everyone’s name on little pieces of paper and performance order will be decided by drawing names from a hat.

Show up whenever you like, performances will start around 9pm! This event is FREE, but BYOB! Come hang out!

Sunup sit (meditation) at 7:30 AM
Ambient morning coffee/tea ritual at 8:00 AM
Yoga w/ Joylyn at 9:00 AM
Shaking it loose and getting groovy w/ DJ Blume from 10:30 AM onward.

We’re hosting “Yes, AM!” an event for early risers and folks who’d like to break out of their routines
Invite a friend, kids welcome. Come for any or all of the parts you would enjoy. We are hosted by the lovely people of Kid’s Castle.

$15 for the full schedule,
$10 for less,
And deals offered to those who need deals 🙂
